Thủy Nguyễn (also known as Tia-Thuy Nguyen) founded Thủy Design House in 2011. She studied at Vietnam University of Fine Arts Hanoi and holds a PhD in Fine Art from the National Academy in Kyiv. She founded The Factory Contemporary Arts Centre in Ho Chi Minh City in 2016, one of Vietnam's leading contemporary art spaces. She is notable for designing costumes for the Vietnamese film Cô Ba Sài Gòn and for her work integrating Vietnamese heritage textiles into contemporary fashion.
